Sensei Stephen has been practicing Martial Arts for over 40 years. Starting with Judo at aged 9. Having a hunger for competition excelled and went on to winning a county championship title in1977 at this young of 13 beating much older opponents he was nominated for Worcestershire’s young sports personality of the year.

Inspired by the legendary Bruce Lee he enrolled in Lau Gar Kung Fu. Under the instruction of Clive Parkinson undefeated World Champion competed in many tournaments. With a natural taking to a regimented format of training Stephen returned to Japanese martial arts to study Karate. After 15 years of dedicated training and countless competitions found his way into Jujitsu. In 1992 became British middle weight champion.

4th Dan Free style Jujitsu (AMA)

Competed in many Karate and open style competitions, FSK, Welsh Grand Prix Circuit, etc...

Represented his country in 1989 and 1990 at the English International Karate Open.

1992 British Middle Weight JuJitsu Champion (BJJA)

1993 Gold Medallist World JuJitsu Championships. 3 man team Event.

2011 Les Mills certified international Bodycombat instructor.

2014 Les Mills Advanced Bodycombat instructor.
